Diy Flower Vases

Image
Hello all. Happy belated Memorial day weekend. I hope you had a great one. It was very hot here in N.Y.C. Mine was good. My husband's birthday was the 28th so we went out to eat and celebrated. I am catching up on work today. The past few weeks have been so busy I barely had time to post. I did a few cute DIY's last week. I painted the bottom of my kitchen chairs and also I made little vases out of old perfume bottles that I wasn't using anymore. They were just too pretty not to use anymore. I used Philosophy and Marc Jacobs. I had them out to display and style my shelves with. I decided to kick it up a notch and turn them into mini vases. And by kick it up a notch, I meant take out the pliers from the tool box and go to town on your perfume bottles lol. It took a little elbow grease but after the top broke I put the flowers in and they looked so cute! An easy free way to turn what you already have in your home into a new item. No money needed. Well I hope you enjoyed

Yankee Candle Sale

Image
Good morning, and happy Sunday all. I hope you are all having a wonderful weekend. I am up as my husband sleeps in. He deserves it. He had to work all day yesterday. I am pretty exhausted myself. I was busy all yesterday and sore from switching up my workout. It's worth it though. I wanted to share a great sale going on now with you guys. I am a total candle lover. I buy candles pretty much anywhere. I love Yankee Candle of course. But they can be pricey. When they have their sales you can make out really good and stock up for a while. They have a summer sale going on now. Select tarts are $1. Votives. $5 small jar candles. They also offer a flat rate of $5 shipping. Any order. $100 or more is free shipping. They still have a lot of scents in stock. I looked yesterday but hurry and order fast because their stuff goes really quick! What are some of your favorite Yankee Candle scents? So many to pick. I would have to say my all time favorite is Storm watch. I love so many.

Califia Farms Better Half Review

Image
Good afternoon my coffee addicts! I hope you are having a positive day. I wanted to share a review on a new item I found recently. Califia "better half" almond/coconut milk. It's dairy, soy, gluten, and carageneen free. The unsweetened version has no added sugar. I thought it tasted really good for an almond milk version. I have struggled for months on whole30 without any avail at a good tasty almond milk.  This one has coconut so I feel it balances the almond flavor. And sweetens it a bit. Let's face it almond milk is pretty dead. Unless you are drinking one with sugar. This is a nice alternative.  It is $2.50 at your local whole foods. I think it's not bad. Real milk had become so damn expensive.  And it's unhealthy so I don't get it. This will go quick. That's the only con. I believe they sell a big bottle but I wasn't sure if I would like. Hence why I bought the small version.  I wish they sold it all over. Its not easily found. My other con. (

Synergy Organic Kombucha Review

Happy Weekend Friends! I hope you are all happy and healthy. I have had a very rough past week. I haven't had one like this in a while. It was just one bad thing after another. I am glad I have my husband to always put my mood in perspective. He doesn't get as depressed as I can. I also suffer from bad anxiety. It's sad that it isn't as recognized as other conditions. A lot of people thing you "over react". Or you can just stop whatever you are feeling. If only they knew that at times you have no control over it. I try and reel myself in from letting it get worst. I usually am a hopeful positive person. But if I get down, I get horribly down. When I am feeling anxious or sad I usually look for projects to do. Or I "nest" a lot. It makes me feel better and keeps my mind occupied. I decided to cleanmy balcony this morning after coffee. The weather finally has turned warm here in N.Y.C. It's dark and gloomy but I am enjoying it. I Rearranged m

Ikea's New VIKTIGT Collection

T.G.I.G everyone! Oh hey it's raining again wow what a shocker lol. I have been running around all morning and now I am in the process of doing loads of laundry. When I was sick the other week I guess it piled up a bit. I like to get everything done before the weekend so I can rest as well as be able to start the next week on a positive note. If you are like me and you love Ikea, I'm sure every summer you look forward to the coveted Ikea cataloge. It usually is hundreds of pages which stuns it's readers with the most beautiful styled rooms you can imagine. I get so many good ideas and inspiration from their books. I started collecting them a few years back.Even months or years after I receive the magazine I keep re-reading to get good tips on how to decorate. I continually am in awe of Ikea's ability to bring such design at an affordable price. I have my eye on so many pieces for the summer time. I really need to get overhead lighting. That's the one area

GLAMGLOW "Gravitymud" Firming Mask Review

Image
Ciao! How are you all doing this week? Sorry I was sick the past week so I have been a bit M.I.A. Now it's already May! That is crazy to me lol. So many birthday's and holidays this month. It's a peaceful rainy Wednesday here in N.Y.C. I was in the city all day yesterday. It felt good to be in a different area then where I used to work. I'm always networking and connecting for work. Never a dull moment!I have so many reviews and posts to catch up on, I wanted to start with an empty sample I just finished. Glamglow gravity mud firming mask. I've been using this for the past two weeks or so. I used it once a week as instructed. It is a peel off mask which usually I find annoying to be honest. This mask however left my skin in really good condition after using. You have to put a decent layer of the mask on or else it will not peel off properly. The first time I used it I applied a thin amount and it was hard to get off. From then on I used more and it work
