Well this wasn't my first time trying Cafe' Bustelo. I read online it was the number one cuban coffee in America. All people drink it not juts spanish. But I know the spanish people rave about it. I have yet to meet a spanish person that doesn't have a brick of Bustelo in their cabinet. LOL. So I wanted to try it really bad. Well the first time my father in law made me the instant version in a regular drip coffee maker. YUCK. It was so bad couldn't even drink it. . Second time was last week. I got the regular vacum packed version. It was supposed to be the "espresso blend". I made it the authentic way with the stove top moka pot. I thought it would be good. It had a nice fine consistency so I was thinking great. This will be perfect for espresso. I really wanted to love it... But once again I was let down. It had a really bitter taste during and after drinking. Honestly , I didn't even finish it. Which the worst thing I hate doing is wasting anything in li...
Hello and here's to a special coffee weekend review ! Today's review is of Gevalia's Espresso Roast blend. Now I am partial to my Italian lover Lavazza espresso. That I love and reviewed it on my blog. But I did have this in my pantry, and it was next up to open. So here goes... I had gotten a special 3 boxes of Gevalia coffee for like $3.00 . It was a promotion, and I said you know I want to see what Gevalia is all about. I had heard of it before. The first box, I forgot what it was I think Creme' brulee decaf, ,and I love it. It was great for at night, or when you can't or don't want caffeine. The second box I opened was Vanilla Nut. Which I absolutely hated. Just for me at least. Mom and hubby liked it . Now I just finished my Italian espresso the other day so I decided to open my last box of Gevalia which was the Espresso Roast. It was friggin amazing !!! I even bought a little battery operated milk frother to make the rich creamy milk so I could do cappucci...
OK here's another new review for you guys ! If you love junior mints then you are going to love this new coffee milk creamer! I tried this last night with a decaf Colombian blend coffee. (that was a new coffee also I have to review lol) I added just 2 tbsp of the milk and mixed it up. It looked very dark. But I tasted it and loved it!! It tasted like a junior mint coffee. It was just a hint of mint, not too much. The coffee was just really rich from the chocolate. It's a great treat at the end of the night, instead of eating cookies or chips or something bad with a lot of calories. This has only 35 calories ( some even come fat free or sugar free). And you can get your daily "indulgence" without really eating lol. These are limited edition's and only come out for the holidays, in certain stores. So, you might have a problem getting them :(. I got mine at the local path mark . ( p.s. i still didn't even finish my pumpkin spice holiday edition lol ) I am...
