Maxwell House "House Blend" K-Cup Review

Good afternoon. It is finally a warm sunny day here in N.Y.C. I have so many reviews and posts to catch up on since I have been so busy working. But I have a great review for you today. It is Maxwell House's House blend kcup. Now I will be honest since we are all such good friends. I really did not expect Maxwell House K-Cups to be good. Their regular ground coffee in the can is mediocre at best. So I was expecting the K-Cup to be watered down or taste weird. But I was wrong. Which I am so many times in life ;) The coffee was a very nice medium blend. It tastes strong in the sense that there is no watering down of this K-Cup. The coffee is fresh. 100% Arabica. No after taste. No gritty taste. No flavor. Just plain old good drink till the last drop coffee.
I had one cup yesterday and was so excited to have another today. I even told my mom about them. What made me even more happy was that my local Key Food grocery store had them in stock. A few years back when I first got my Keurig, I could only find K-Cups at Bed Bath and Beyond or my local Kmart actually. But then little by little ( I guess since Keurig is so damn popular and it's literally taking over the world) my grocery store starting adding a whole line. When I went in the other day I saw Gevalia and Maxwell House. My husband being the sweetheart that he is, saw my emotion and right away dropped them in our cart and got them for me:) ( love you babe). And the rest is history.

I really would urge you to try the Maxwell House House blend. Even if you didn't like their coffee in the tub or can, I think this will convert you to the brand. This is the same thing that happened to me with the Folger's K-Cups. I always hated Folgers regular coffee. But the gourmet line and the K-Cups I LOVE. So I'd give it 4 coffee cups out of 5. The box sells for $7.99 for only 12. That's the only downside. But once in a while I will pick one up at the grocery store on impulse. Usually I buy on Bed Bath and Beyond because they have coupons and free shipping.

Has anyone ever tried these yet ? Do you agree with me or think they stink ???

  1. Those K-cups I've had before and they're pretty good. I usually can find them for cheap on CoffeForLess's website.
