Seattle's Best Coffee Level 5 Review

Happy Monday all! I hope you guys are having a great end of the summer. I have been so busy it is not even funny! I am sorry if I haven't had a chance to post as much I have been doing so many DIY projects around the house, as well as changing out the stuff in my apartment to get ready for fall/winter. Plus a husband 24 hours 7 days a week. Work. So you can see where the time goes.
Lately I have been drinking a new coffee in my Keurig my kcup filter and I would like to give you my review:
I had received a free sample bag of Seattle's Best Coffee Level 5. It is dark, bold, and intense. ( Those are their words lol)I was very surprised to find that I liked it a lot. Most of the bag coffee's that I try to use in my kcup filter never taste good. I love the kcups more than anything in the world, but I also love variety. I love to make them last longer and stretch our coffee budget. Case in point, drinking the bag coffee during the week and kcups on the weekend. This coffee was bold as it said. Very strong.Tasted like a french roast or an Italian roast. That it had an " earthy " taste. Bold enough to hold well against a flavored coffee creamer or a very sweet dessert.
I actually made my own little latte concoction ( I love to experiment). I put half and half in the microwave for a few seconds. Whipped the milk till it got thick with a dash of cinnamon. Then brewed the coffee on top. It tasted great! It was like one of those pumpkin latte treats you would get at Starbucks but minus the $5 price tag and no calories ! lol I was even telling my husband I am going to experiment with other spices in the store. They even have a pumpkin spice one so I won't have to buy the k-cups if I don't want to. I can make my own :)
I think this would even be good as an espresso if you brewed it in a small cup. If you like strong black coffee you would love this. A little bit of an after taste but if you take a sip of water then your good to go. I give it 4 coffee cups out of 5. Would definitely recommend for regular coffee makers, as well as Keurig users. One bag is about $7.59. I think it's worth it.

So have you guys ever tried Seattle's Best Coffee ? Yay or Nay ?

P.S. Now I am very curious to buy & try the other level Seattle's Best coffee offers. They go from 1-5 5 being the boldest.

  2. Great Post, Gourmet coffee is expensive; it’s not always easy to find quality coffee at affordable prices

  4. Just a note to say I stumbled across here while starting my quest to buy SBC5 online. Office switched from blech to SBC3 a year ago and I loved it. Then my local supermarket started carrying it and I tried SBC5. Wow. Used to shy away from Starbucks Intense coffees due to their high price, but I was getting SBC5 on sales as low as $5.89. Well my local supermarket discontinued and my stock is exhausted and I'm hooked on this stuff. My .02 :-)

  5. Hello Steph. Thank you so much for commenting. I would say that bedbathandbeyond.com is a great place to get K-Cups. You can use coupons plus they offer free shipping on all K-Cups. Amazon does offer some good deals as well. You can get sampler packs. Different blends you wouldn't find in stores. I think if you get free shipping, it makes it a good deal as well.
Also check your local Marshall stores. I find K-Cups reduced priced from time to time. They will mark them $7.99. It's a score in my book. Hope this helped. Come back and let me know.
