Starbucks Verismo 580 Viewpoints Review

Afternoon all. It has been raining all day here in N.Y.C. Nothing is more fitting than a nice cup of tea or coffee. I prefer tea in the afternoon. It calms me down and is healthy for you.
Well among many review sites I am a Viewpoints member. I review millions of different products good or bad. Today I stumbled upon the new Starbucks Verismo 580 single serve brewer review. Here is a great write up on it. Tell me what you think about this machine and it's hefty price tag. Are you going to purchase ? Or are you tired of buying your machine, and then the next day and bigger one coming out ? ( Yeah me too )

Coffee Bean Direct's Kickstarter Project

Good afternoon Sunday readers. It is a beautiful day here in N.Y.C and I have an exciting project to tell you guys about. Coffeebeandirect.com is a great local company here in New Jersey where you can get the freshest coffee at the most affordable prices. They have whole bean, ground, tea, gift baskets, etc. I love that this place is local and is run by everyday people like us!

I was contacted by a really sweet guy Anthony (Ok maybe I just love him since he has my husband's name lol), who has a Kickstarter program. They basically are trying to raise money for a huge coffee machine that would help them produce more coffee at a time. To get the most quantity faster to all of their loyal customers. I love helping people out in any way I can. This project being added to my list. Here is the link. Check them out. Like them, friend them, help their cause. Even just $1 can help if we all donate ! They have until October 13th 5pm to raise their money. They have raised $3,883 so far. They are looking to raise $80,000. I think it is so important for us to support our local merchants. They are the ones who care about their customers. Let me know how you guys help, and if there are any other organizations you'd love me to help promote. Below is their video.

To order directly. Go here .

To Anthony: Again, good luck to you all. I hope you reach your goal. Never give up !!

Seattle's Best Coffee Level 5 Review

Happy Monday all! I hope you guys are having a great end of the summer. I have been so busy it is not even funny! I am sorry if I haven't had a chance to post as much I have been doing so many DIY projects around the house, as well as changing out the stuff in my apartment to get ready for fall/winter. Plus a husband 24 hours 7 days a week. Work. So you can see where the time goes.
Lately I have been drinking a new coffee in my Keurig my kcup filter and I would like to give you my review:
I had received a free sample bag of Seattle's Best Coffee Level 5. It is dark, bold, and intense. ( Those are their words lol)I was very surprised to find that I liked it a lot. Most of the bag coffee's that I try to use in my kcup filter never taste good. I love the kcups more than anything in the world, but I also love variety. I love to make them last longer and stretch our coffee budget. Case in point, drinking the bag coffee during the week and kcups on the weekend. This coffee was bold as it said. Very strong.Tasted like a french roast or an Italian roast. That it had an " earthy " taste. Bold enough to hold well against a flavored coffee creamer or a very sweet dessert.
I actually made my own little latte concoction ( I love to experiment). I put half and half in the microwave for a few seconds. Whipped the milk till it got thick with a dash of cinnamon. Then brewed the coffee on top. It tasted great! It was like one of those pumpkin latte treats you would get at Starbucks but minus the $5 price tag and no calories ! lol I was even telling my husband I am going to experiment with other spices in the store. They even have a pumpkin spice one so I won't have to buy the k-cups if I don't want to. I can make my own :)
I think this would even be good as an espresso if you brewed it in a small cup. If you like strong black coffee you would love this. A little bit of an after taste but if you take a sip of water then your good to go. I give it 4 coffee cups out of 5. Would definitely recommend for regular coffee makers, as well as Keurig users. One bag is about $7.59. I think it's worth it.

So have you guys ever tried Seattle's Best Coffee ? Yay or Nay ?

P.S. Now I am very curious to buy & try the other level Seattle's Best coffee offers. They go from 1-5 5 being the boldest.

Keurig's New Vitamin Infused K-Cups

In my opinion Keurig has revolutionized the way we all drink coffee. It has given us all a reason to appreciate coffee. Understand it better. And brew the best possible quality that they can offer us. " One cup at a time". Now Keurig has upped their game to another level. Keurig has now come out with a line of " wellness k-cups". They will be offered for people that don't just want to drink a cup of coffee, they want to drink to their health as well. There are only 6 different flavors so far. Two of them are Green Mountain coffee's that offer either Focus Blend or Wellness blend. Each delivering vitamins to keep you healthy. Two others are from Celestial Seasonings. They are the Antioxidant Max Green Teas. (Which I have been dying to try especially now in K-cup form). And last but not least the two Vitamin Burst Iced K-cups which I wanted to try but it has too much sugar for me :(. The prices are a bit steep ( in my opinion). $17.49 for the teas and a whopping $18.49 for the coffee. I would love to try being that I take vitamins and drink tons of tea. And coffee for health, but at these prices probably will not be buying. Or not often at least. Here is the link to purchase online.

Have you guys tried these yet ? What do you think of vitamin infused coffee and teas?
